CONSTITUTION & BY-LAWS

PURPOSE

The purpose of the Commercial Lubricants Bass Club (the "Club") is to promote friendship and enhance relationships. This is accomplished through competitive and friendly fishing.

STRUCTURE

President
The responsibilities of the President are as follows:

· Maintaining an active membership list

· Conducting all regular and called meetings of the Club

· Settling all disputes concerning the Club

· Managing, protecting, and accounting for Club funds

· Calculating, maintaining, and reporting Club weight standings

· Issuing all tournament schedules and notices

Vice President
The responsibility of the Vice President are as follows:

· Assisting the President

· Acting for the President in his or her absence

Tournament Committee
The responsibilities of the Tournament Committee are as follows:

· Conducting tournaments

    -Setting tournament dates and launch sights

    -Signing in all Anglers

    -Taking money for the optional "pots"

    -Managing weigh-ins

    -Acting in the absence of the President and Vice President

Sheriff
The responsibilities of the Sheriff are as follows:

· Determining if anyone is late for check-in or weigh-in

· Determining safe blast-off time

· Assisting in weigh-in

· Determining short fish

· Enforcing all Club rules

MEETINGS

Members will be notified one week in advance of any meeting.  There will be a Club meeting before the start of the season.

There will be call meetings as necessary during the season.

POINT SYSTEM

Points will be awarded as follows:

· 200 points for 1st place

· 197 points for 2nd (and so on...each placing will receive 3 less points (in descending order)

· 80 points for all those attending tournament, but not catching fish

TOURNAMENTS

Tournament lakes and launch sites will be voted on by the Tournament Committee during a designated meeting prior to the start of each season. Tournament dates will be determined by the Tournament Committee of the Club. Any changes to tournament dates will be determined by the Tournament Committee and members will be notified as far in advance as possible.

Tournament Schedule
Prior to the first tournament of the current season a complete schedule of the regular tournament dates and launch sites will be prepared. Copies of the tournament schedule will be available to each member as well as rules and regulation of the Club.

Fishing Partners
Members can choose to "buddy fish" or draw for partner. Partners will be drawn at the first meeting for the first tournament of the season. At the end of each tournament partners will be drawn for the next tournament.

AWARDS

Trophies
The Club will furnish three (3) trophies for each tournament. The trophies will be awarded for First, Second, and Third places.

CLASSIC TOURNAMENT

There will be a Classic Tournament after regular tournaments are complete. This will be a two-day tournament and all dues paid by members during the year will be awarded as prize money at this tournament.

In order to qualify for the Classic Tournament a member must fish at least sixty percent (60%) of regular season tournaments and pay dues for all tournaments during the year, e.g. If someone fishes five (5) of eight (8) scheduled tournaments he or she would owe $30 in dues in order to fish the Classic and qualify for the prize money. If someone wishes to fish the Classic and not qualify for the prize money then they would not have to pay dues for all the regular tournaments.

SUPPLEMENTAL RULES

"Optional" Most Fish pot will be based on total boat weight.

Anyone fishing the Classic Tournament for the cash prize must fish with a partner that is also fishing for the cash prize.
